My husband and I stayed at the resort on the winery and did this tasting experience while waiting on our room to be ready. I’m so glad we did! The wines are incredible and the food pairings are tasty. We also received a short tour of the winery as well.

The experience was nice. Maybe it would be interesting if the people working there explained a bit more about the wines. And it would be lovely if there was a pickup from Pompei since walking there takes about 30 minutes and it’s really hot.

We liked the tour very much. It was interesting to see domain. Also the food was delicious. We would definitely recommend the tasting.

I had the most amazing time here! The wine, the people and the space was just too lovely. Can't wait to come back some day.

Amazing value experience, you get a lot for what you pay. The food is delicious, and the wine selection is fantastic. Particularly liked the Pompeii Bianco.
The tour guide and our wine expert were both very friendly and knowledgeable.

I did this with my friends after a tour of Pompeii. The wine and food were gorgeous and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Also very knowledgeable about the area and vineyard. I would definitely recommend this experience

Bosco de’Medici was a diamond in the rough of Pompeii. It’s actually hard to believe that such an oasis exists so close to the ruins! The staff were very classy yet they also created a warm environment for kids (special menu, kids drinks in wine glasses). Our kids are still talking about the winery as a highlight of our Italy trip!

We visited the winery after touring the Pompeii historical site as it is only a short drive away. The winery personnel were friendly, informative, and very accommodating. The grounds were beautiful, the foods delicious and the wines spectacular. Perhaps most interesting, there are additional archeological excavations underway on the property. This only adds to the historical aura of the region and the generations of Medici who harvest grapes from the mineral souls of Mt. Vesuvius. It is a stop well worth the time!

We had a fabulous time at the winery, the vineyard tour was short and sweet which suited us as I've been on many in depth ones so was more interested in the tasting aspect. We then sat down for lunch in a beautiful setting underneath the vines and tasted two sparkling, a white and two red with a lovely 3 course lunch. The sommelier was lovely and very helpful. We ended up buying a case of wine to ship home and it arrived about a week after we got back. Would definitely recommend, fantastic value.

It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Booking was a breeze. The tour was short but very informative and fun. The wine was divine and the food was delicious. We would definitely recommend to friends and will definitely return ourselves.

My friends and I enjoyed the tour of the winery. The wine we had was magnificent and the meal was great as well! The sommeliers were very knowledgeable and friendly!

Great tour, nice guide, good wine and food, value for money

Het was een kleine wijntour met een golfkar door de kleine wijngaard. Wel fijn, omdat het zo warm was. De wijnproeverij met eten was op een prachtige plek en ze waren royaal met inschenken. Het eten was niet bijzonder, maar wel gewoon lekker. De wijn was verfijnd, maar ook best prijzig, dus hebben we niet gekocht. Ik vond het enig. Een leuke ervaring, maar wel commercieel.

Myself and friends had a lovely time at Bosco. It was great value, the lunch and wines were all very nice and the staff welcoming and friendly. A highlight of our trip.

We loved the whole experience. As soon as we arrived, we were taken on our tour of the grounds. Our guide was very knowledgeable and even showed us the archeological excavation site right next to their vines. After the tour, we were brought to the restaurant. When the guide heard we had tried amphora wines before, he made sure the sommelier had us try theirs. It was very thoughtful. The meal and main tasting took place in a picturesque patio under grapevine shading. The food itself was worth the price we paid. The sommelier asked our preferences in wine and matched our tastes perfectly. I highly recommend the Lavarubra.
Even though we don’t speak Italian, we had no problems booking online, enjoying the experience, or buying a bottle to take with us. Everyone was wonderful. As an added bonus, the winery is conveniently close to town. We walked from our rental (about 15 minutes).
Overall, I can’t recommend this place enough.

Perfect little winery, beautiful cart ride throughout the grounds and delicious lunch in a stunning patio setting. Wine tasting and lunch here were a wonderful addition to our visit to Pompeii.

We booked a wine tasting experience before we travelled to Itally and were so pleased we did. It was a fantastic experience with great service, food and wine. We highly recommend it to anyone in the Pompei area.

This was our second time visiting your winery, the first was a much nicer experience.So, when we had friends visiting from the US we recommended a tasting based on our first experience. However, the portions were small and wine dramatically increased in price from our last visit. I don't think the current economy warrants a €35 increase in Agathos. This leaves us to feel we were taken advantage of during tourist season?

I had last visited Pompeii in 2017 and had no idea there was a winery within walking distance. I booked on line in the morning for an 11:30 tour.
I am a solo traveler and the staff made me feel very comfortable and welcome.

I took a tour of the vineyard and afterwards was offered a glass of sparkling wine. I was seated at a table under the grapevines were the tasting took place. Four fabulous wines (2 red and 2 white) followed by a lovely, delicious lunch and dessert.

I was a solo traveler and had a wonderful time. Just think how lovely it would be with a date, spouse or a group of friends. I highly recommend this tour and it is walkable from the train station Pompeii Sanctuario.

Entering the winery as a whole was a bit confusing, as there was no one out front to direct us where to go.

We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting session. The atmosphere was lovely, we were treated like royalty in a lush setting and the wine and food was amazing! Perfect afternoon which would definitely recommend.

The wines and food were excellent and THE lunch and tour was a very good value. We ended up ordering a bunch of cases to be shipped to us in the US.

We all enjoyed the trip around the wineyards at the estate, the friendly driver telling us the historie of the estate and also about the resent findings at the edge of the area where we had walked in Pompeii. The wine was very good and the food too! Great and friendly service - can be recommended!

after a kind inviting welcome with a glass of bubbly they will lead you to the most amazing garden where your table is covered with a beautiful spiral of grape plants. a three-course lunch served with a rose, red wine and two white wines, of which the sommelier explains which flavors you taste and smells you experience. to round it off, you get a tour of the beautiful grounds with vineyards in a golf cart and even a little history lesson. what an experience, kindness and beautiful surroundings. Don't forget to order a case of wine to reminice about the experience at home!

I had booked this tour/experience for my boyfriend and I and we were absolutely thrilled by it!
Everything was as we expected. The small tour in the vineyards was pleasant with a lot of information regarding the history of the family resort, the wine production, and the archeological excavations too. Francesca was a great tour guide!
The pranzo and the wine degustation were also delicious, with a great and funny staff who put us in a very good mood.
As a Travel Planner and Content Creator, I highly recommend to come to Bosco de' Medici.
